AlgeCenter Danmark

Ett konsortium som skapades 2011 av Århus Universitet[1], Kattegattcentret[2] och Danmarks Tekniske Universitet[3].

Syfte

The purpose of AlgaeCenter Denmark is to find out how algae can be used as a new resource in a world where traditional resources are under pressure. A number of research projects serve to find out how algae can be used for sustainable energy, food, medicine and food ingredients.[5]

Mål

The objective of AlgaeCenter Denmark is to explore the potential of producing biogas from algae and the use of residues as fertilizer for organic crop production.[6]

Forskningsanläggning

Konsortiet har en forskningsanläggning i Grenå, Danmark.[7]

Konferens

AlgeCenter Danmark anordnar årligen konferensen Nordic Seaweed Conference
